Tapas of Marinated Olives

Marinated Olives are so easy and can be served as an appetizer, snack or serve with pre-dinner drinks at any themed party like, Wine Tasting Party, Spanish Theme Party, or any adult event. There are literally hundreds of different kinds of olives out there so feel free to experiment with different kinds and not limit yourself to just the two used in this recipe. |
Supplies needed for The Marinated Olive Tapas (serves 6-8)
- 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 2 tsp chopped fresh parsely
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp sherry vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/3 cup black and green pitted or stuffed olives
- Sliced up Ciabatta Bread
Tapas of Marinated Olives – Instructions
Step 1. To marinate the olives, crush the coriander and fennel seeds in a blender or mortar and pestle.
Step 2. Mix the garlic, parsley, rosemary, oil and vinegar together, and pour over the olives in a bowl. Cover and cool in the fridge for up to one week. The longer you marinate, the more flavorful.
Step 3. To serve, arrange in the middle of square platter. Arrange Ciabatta bread on the side.
