Put together this fun, creepy crawly popcorn hand as an activity for a Kids Halloween Party. Another option is to make an entire arm by creating a sleeve out of old pillowcases, to give them an “extra hand” during trick-or-treating! Pun intended! The sleeve doubles as a trick-or-treating bag. We made it for my son’s Halloween Class Party for the entire class a few years ago. The kids loved it! |
Eco-Friendly Water Filtration Activity

Kids were given the scenario in the book Hatchet and to imagine themselves stranded in nature without drinking water. They had to use natural elements to create a filter using a water bottle, a net or piece of cloth, and a rubber band. This was a class room project where the experiment can be recreated 3 times to see which materials worked the best. Kids loved this challenge and soon were competing to see who had the clearest water at the end of class. |

This is a great craft for ages 9 years and up, however, younger kids can use pipe cleaners instead of wire to make a simpler version of this Valentine’s sun catchers. There is fun to be had by everyone! |
