Easy Kid-Friendly Chinese Spring Rolls

Make these easy Chinese Spring Roll for a Chinese Themed Party, a celebration or just as a snack for after school. Great way to introduce veggies and meat into your child’s diet. My friend’s son is a very picky eater (no veggies) but when he tasted these spring rolls, he could not get enough! |

Spring Roll Recipe
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 lb. ground meat (turkey, beef, chicken, or pork)
- 1 tbs oil
- 2 tbs oyster sauce
- 1 tbs soya sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3 tbs broth
- spring roll shells or wrappers
- 1 egg white
- 2 cups oil for frying

Spring Roll Directions:
- Saute meat in frying pan until brown and cooked. Drain fat and remove from pan.
- Saute carrots and cabbage in 1 tbs oil until soft and cooked.
- Add meat back in, with the oyster sauce, soya, sugar and broth.
- Cook until well-mixed. Turn off heat and let cool.
- Take a wrapper and fill with little bit of meat mixture.
- Roll by folding in the one corner, and then folding in both sides. Continue rolling and seal with some egg white dipped with your finger.
- Fry in hot oil on medium heat until brown and crispy.
- Serve hot.
