Labrador Puppy Dog Cup Cakes

Supplies needed for a Chocolate Labrador Dog Cup Cake (1):

  • 2 Tootsie Rolls candies
  • 3 mini marshmallows, white or colored
  • 1 pink fruit chew (Starburst)
  • 2 small black jelly bean
  • 1 cup cake
  • 1 tub of chocolate icing

Instructions for Labrador Dog Cup Cake:

  1. Soften the Tootsie Roll in the microwave on high for 2 to 3 seconds. Flatten each candy between wax papers with a rolling pin. With kitchen shears cut the two Tootsie Rolls into ovals like ears.
  2. Spread the cupcake with chocolate icing.
  3. Flatten 1/2 of the fruit roll with a rolling pin. Cut into a shape of a tongue. Place onto cupcake.
  4. Place the 3 mini marshmallows above the tongue. Ice the marshmallow with chocolate icing.
  5. Position one jellybean for the nose. Cut another jelly bean in half and use as eyes.
  6. Fold the top end of the Tootsie Roll ears under and arrange on both side of the cupcake for the ears.
