Easy Election Party Invitations or Patriotic Fourth of July Invitations can be made with simple card stock, ribbons and stickers. Making this invitation is quite simple since the red, white and blue colors of the Patriotic theme already add an element of design, so that only a few simple embellishments are needed to complete this invitation. |
Patriotic or Election Party Invitation
Patriotic or Election Party Invitation Supplies:
- White Glue or Hot Glue with a Hot Glue Gun
- Red Card Stock – 5 inch by 7 inch size
- Light Blue Card Stock – 3 1/2 inch by 5 inch size
- 2 inch ribbon with a Patriotic Theme
- Patriotic Flag stickers
- Large Patriotic Red stars stickers
Patriotic or Election Party Invitation Instructions
Step 1. You will need a red sheet of paper measuring 5 inch by 7 inch size. If you are starting out with a 12 by 12 inch sheet, trace out and cut down to size. If you have bought ready-made 5 x 7 card stock, you are ready to go.
Step 2. Same with the light blue card stock. Cut down to size to 3 1/2 by 5 inches.
Step 3. Use a computer to print out invitation details on to the light blue card stock.
Step 4. Cut a 6 inch long ribbon ( 2 inch width) and glue diagonally width-wise as shown.
Step 5. Layer the blue card stock on top. Glue in place using white paper glue or hot glue gun.
Step 6. Use stickers like flags, stars, etc. to decorate the rest of the card and envelope.
You are now done and the invitations are ready to be sent for your Election or Fourth of July Patriotic Party. Use flag stamps to mail the envelopes and decorate the rest of the envelope using the remaining Patriotic stickers.
