Devonshire cream or sometimes called clotted cream is a staple in England, especially at tea parties. It is a cream that originated there but hard to find in the U.S. due to its short shelf life. However, here is a mock version you can make that tastes very similar to the nutty, tart, sweet cream that is heavenly on breads, sconces and toast with jam. Very yummy and a favorite in our family! |

This is my all-time favorite recipe for the moistest Thanksgiving Turkey. The recipe starts off with a brine the day before roasting, so plan accordingly. The orange-peppercorn-cider brine adds flavor and taste to the turkey and at the same time creates a juicy and flavorful meat. Thanksgiving Party Supplies |

Macaroons have been in the news lately or perhaps it was just me obsessing about them and seem to notice them everywhere. I believe it was Marie to blame, in the recent Marie Antoinette movie (starring Kirsten Dunst), where she indulged in these nutty, chewy morsels while sipping champagne or tea during her numerous splurges and living ‘la vie’. But whatever the reason, I set out to have my own little delectable feast so I decided to hunt down the perfect recipe to make these pretty cream-filled almond cookies. |
