Mod Monkey Favor Boxes Supplies (makes 1 box)

• 1 empty clean half-gallon milk carton
• Blue paper table cloth
• Yellow Grosgrain Ribbon 7/8″
• Yellow M&M candy
• Mod Monkey Stickers
• Yellow Napkins
• Household Glue or Hot glue gun

Mod Monkey Favor Boxes Directions

Step 1. You will need empty, cleaned and dried half-gallon milk cartons.  This is a great way to recycle milk cartons and finding another use for them. Our garage is full of empty half-gallon milk cartons piled up high in one corner.  So I’m happy that I found some use for them.  They should really make one gallon cartons but that is another topic…

Step 2. Use a ruler and measure 3″ from the bottom of the milk carton, and mark with a permanent marker all around.  Cut off the top of the milk carton by cutting along the marked line. I used a knife to cut into the milk carton first, then I used scissors to finish cutting the top off.

Step 3. Wrap the box in blue paper table cloth or tissue, like a present, leaving top open.  Fold the blue paper at the top, to the inside and glue.  Use household glue or a hot glue gun to glue the sides in place. Glue on 7/8″ yellow grosgrain ribbon along the sides.  Place a Mod Monkey Sticker in the center.

Step 4. Finish off by gluing two yellow M&M candy on either side of the Mod Monkey Sticker.  Place yellow napkin or tissue in the box.  Fill the box with Mod Monkey Favors, peanuts, animal crackers or more yellow M&M candy for your Mod Monkey Party!
