12″ x 9″ green card stock
5″ x 7″ purple card stock
36″ glitter gold trim
4″ x 7″ green felt (or other fabric, paper)
Mardi Gras confetti
Hot glue gun and glue
Beads (optional)
Small paper clip (optional)

Mardi Gras Mask Invitation Directions

Fold the 12″ x 9″ purple card stock in half, length wise. You will end up with a card 6″ x 9″.
Glue purple card stock of 5″x7″ on top of the green card.
Cut out mask from felt (or other fabric, paper) using eye mask template.
Glue on gold trim to the edges of the mask.
Glue mask onto purple card stock.
(Optional) Add embellishments to the center of the mask using beading, streamers, confetti, etc. First, take a small paper clip and unfold one end straight. Second, bead about 4 small beads and close off the end by bending the wire with flat-nose pliers to form a loop. Cut out small fan shaped felt (or paper) from the eye mask template. Glue the paper clip bottom to the fan shaped felt. Add streamers and other beads to decorate. Finish off by gluing to the mask invitation.
