This Mad Hatter Party Invitation was inspired by the movie “Alice in Wonderland” where an old key was used with a key tag that reads “You Are Invited To A Mad Hatter Tea!” .

Supplies needed

Alice in Wonderland Party : Mad Hatter Invitation (1)

1 dark brown card stock
1 scroll card stock (see below)
1 Ivory printer paper
Brown yarn
1 set of old fashioned keys (Jim Holtz idea-ology Word Keys)
Glue
Hole puncher

Mad Hatter Party Invitation - Supplies needed

Step 1. Download the Mad Hatter Invitation Tag Template above and print out on regular plain printer paper. Cut out.

Step 2. Place the small template over the scroll paper and cut out. Do the same with the larger template and place that on top of the dark brown card stock. Cut out. Place the scroll tag on top of the dark brown tag and punch a hole through both layers using a hole punch. Glue the layers together.

Step 3. Print out Mad Hatter Tea Invitation Write up on the ivory quality printer paper. Use your hand to tear out the printed text that says “You are invited to a Mad Hatter Tea!” and glue that to the top layer of the tag for the Alice in Wonderland: Mad Hatter Invitation.

Step 4. Use yarn to string through an old key from Jim Holtz idea-ology Word Keys. Print out all the party details on a small piece of paper and stick that on the back of the invitation tag.
