Step 2. Use a toothpick to add a small amount of the Wilton Rose Icing Color to the small amount of cream cheese. You just need a very small amount as the gel will color the cheese much easier than it would do with for example, fondant or sugar paste. Add in the small amount of sugar and mix well.

Step 3. Using a round cookie cutter cut out two round pieces from the two slices of bread. Spread one with the colored sugar cream cheese and the other with the strawberry jam.

Step 4. Cut the pink cream cheese bread into half. Place it on top of the bread with the jam. Place the chocolate chips on top, 3 for each side of the wings. Cut a small slice of strawberry in half and place on the top portion of the ladybug as its head.
Slice up the Tootsie Roll Candy in half. Take each half and slice it again in the middle. Place 2 of the Tootsie Rolls pieces in the microwave and microwave for about 15 seconds on Defrost setting. Take the pieces out of the microwave and roll in between your hands to form the 2 antennae for the lady bug sandwich.

Step 5. Place the ladybug tea sandwiches on a decorative tray and they are ready to be served at the Ladybug Party. If you will not be serving right away cover with plastic wrap to prevent the cream cheese from drying out. Just uncover right before serving.
