Heart Shaped French Toast

Heart French Toast
Make French Toast in the shape of hearts for Valentine’s day, for a birthday breakfast, or for brunch after a Slumber Sleepover party. These french toast are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Serve with fresh strawberries, blueberries, apple butter or other fresh fruit and gourmet syrup.

Heart French Toast Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 12 thick slices white bread
  • heart-shaped cookie cutters
  • syrup

Heart French Toast Directions


Step 1. Measure and sift flour into a large bowl.  With a wire whisk, add in the milk, salt, eggs, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon.  Whisk until everything is mixed well.

Step 2. Heat griddle over medium heat and grease with vegetable oil.

Step 3. Dip bread slices into the egg mixture making sure to coat thoroughly.  Place in pan and cook until brown on both sides.

Step 4. Take the french toast out of the pan and use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out heart shaped french toast. Serve with syrup and fresh fruit.
