Create Easy Valentine Cards and Ornaments for your Valentine’s Day Party using card stock, stickers, doilies, stamps, fabric, and ribbons. Get items from the craft stores or dollar stores and let kids have fun making their own creations. It helps if you have a few samples ready so that if you are having a party, kids can use those as their inspirations or make copies of your sample. |
Valentine Cards Supplies :
- Construction paper in Valentine’s colors – red, white and pink
- Heart-shaped doilies (white)
- Heart-shaped doilies (red)
- Textured tissue paper in Valentine’s colors – red, white and pink
- Card stock in Valentine’s theme – floral heart, polka dots, lined colors
- Valentine stickers in various shapes, colors and textures.
- Glitter
- Glue Stick
Valentine Heart Card and Heart Ornament:
- Take a large white doily and glue on a red card stock.
- Cut out around the edge of the red card stock so there is about a 1″ edge around the doily.
- Take a 4″ piece of red ribbon and glue to the top of the heart to make a loop.
- In the center of the doily decorate with stickers and glitter.
- Write your Valentine message in the back.
- This project can double as a Valentine Card or as a Valentine decoration for a Valentine’s Day Party.
