Halloween Finger Cookies

Create scary finger cookies for your Halloween Party out of cookie dough! Kids will squirm when they see you eating these cookies. Make them from store bought sugar cookie dough, or make them from scratch. If you are using store bought cookie dough, add 1/2 cup flour and knead into dough for a firmer cookie.

Halloween Finger Cookies Supplies:

1 cup butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup ground walnut
Almonds (for the nails)

Halloween Finger Cookies Instructions:

Beat butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla, salt, then flour. Add the walnuts slowly, blending as you go along.
Mix well.
Using 1 tablespoon dough per cookie, shape dough into “fingers” and place on cookie sheet. Use knife to lightly “score” the fingers to resemble knuckles.
Put the almonds on the fingers to look like finger nails.
Bake at 300 F for 25 minutes until lightly brown.
Take out of the oven and let cool. Decorate with plastic rings and jewels (optional).
