It is the time to celebrate a major milestone for your child and his or her growth from an infant to a toddler. The best time for a birthday would be early in the morning (10:00 am – 12 noon) or in the afternoon after nap time (from 2:00 – 5:00 pm). In the morning after breakfast kids are wide awake and ready to go and in the afternoon after nap time they tend to be less cranky and refreshed.
Keep the parties short, no more than 2 hours. Just keep it short and sweet.
So who to invite? The saying goes one guest for each year of the birthday child, but come on, if you have lots of relatives, close friends who are a big part of your child’s life, invite them! It’s a major milestone and important people should be part of your child’s life, especially for celebrations!
