Fall Harvest Season: Easy Natural Centerpieces

Use natural elements, fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, and branches to create easy affordable centerpieces in minutes for Fall, Thanksgiving or Harvest Parties. Take a walk outdoors and see what you can find in your garden, neighborhood and outdoor public park. If nothing is available close by, perhaps go to the local nursery or flower store for fresh and live elements. |
1.Thanksgiving Harvest Fruit and Leaves Centerpiece
- 2 Apples
- 2 Star Anise
- clear glass stones
- Clear crystal vase
- Crabapple branches
Place the glass rocks in the vase. Fill with water. Arrange the crabapple branches in the vase evenly. Arrange an apple on either side of the vase. Place the Anise star on top of each. Star Anise is a spice you can obtain in Asian or Middle Eastern store. Star Anise has been used for cooking, helping indigestion, colic, rheumatism, and have been used in drugs against the flu. They are very fragrant and by just placing them on the table the pleasant aroma will fill the air and it makes a great natural air freshener.

2. Thanksgiving Harvest Crabapple Centerpiece
- Apples
- Pears
- Tangerines
- Leaves
- Glass Bowl
- Crabapple branches
Arrange the fresh fruit in a bowl so that colors are dispersed evenly. Arrange leaves in the same way by tucking into gaps to fill in the extra space. Put in the center of table. Arrange crabapple branches at the base of the bowl.

3. Holiday Centerpiece with Fresh Flowers and Fruit
- Cylinder Vase
- Lime
- Clementines
- Cranberries
- Cloves
- Fresh Flowers
- Glass beads for vases
- Gold Charger
Place glass beads in the vase. Slice up a lime and line the inside perimeter of the vase with the lime slices. Add more glass beads in the center to keep the lime from falling backwards. Add a fresh flower in the center of the vase. No need to secure. Add water to the vase to about 2″ from the top. Place on gold charger and decorate with fresh clementines and cranberries. Add some cloves to the clementines by gently pressing the cloves into the skin.
