Candy Purse Favor Bag Supplies (1)
- Scrapbook Paper
- Download Free Purse Template
- 2 pieces each 2.5 ” long ribbon 5/8 inches
- 2 pieces each 6 ” long ribbon 3/8 inches
- Hot Glue with Hot Glue Gun
- 1 bead in complimentary color
- Personalized or Plain M&M’S® Candies
- 3″x5″ clear cellophane bags
- Twist ties
Candy Purse Favor Bag Directions (1)
Step 1. Download and cut out Free Purse Template. Trace onto Scrapbook Paper. Cut out and fold along folding lines.
Step 2. Cut out 2 pieces of 2.5 ” long Green grossgrain ribbon (5/8″ width) and 2 pieces of 6 ” long Green grossgrain ribbon (3/8″ width). Glue the green riboon to the top edges of the purse. Trim excess ribbon with sharp scissors from both sides so that the ribbon is flush against the edge of the purse. Glue the black ribbons to the top to create handles.
Step 3. For special occassions, consider getting adorable custom printed Personalized M&M’S® Candies for the candy bag. My Sister-In-Law got these for her daughter’s 16th birthday party, with the words “Sweet”, “16th Birthday” and “Stephanie” printed on the bags. She ordered 3 bags and got one for FREE. It added a special custom touch to the favors without much expense.
Step 4. For each purse fill the cellophane bag with jelly beans, M&Ms, chocolates, almond eggs, or any other candies you wish. Close off with twist tie. and glue the purse together at the top. Add one coordinating bead, gem or crystal to the front to look like a clasp.
Step 5. The adorable favor purse is now finished and set at each place setting to compliment your entire party decor!
